PHILADELPHIA – As the holiday season quickly approaches, City Cruises Philadelphia will host lively holiday cruises with offerings for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day, where family and friends can come together and enjoy a unique holiday experience on the water.
BUCKS COUNTY - As this year’s holiday season ramps up, Owowcow, Buck’s County’s uber-popular premium ice cream brand, is launching a new retail program with a dual purpose: to partner with like-minded, mission-driven businesses who support local growers; and to help combat food insecurity.
PHILADEPHIA - In November of 2020, Stanford Ponson, owner of Old City Canning Co., opened The Chandlery Scent Studio – a 700-square foot space filled with everything from artisan candles to scented sprays, soaps, gifts, and accessories from local artisans. But after major staffing shortages and pandemic-related supply chain issues, Ponson was forced to close the shop in January 2022. Now, just in time for the holiday shopping season, The Chandlery is reopening at 1533 South Street, with an official opening date of Friday, November 11th.
PHILADELPHIA - November is an exciting time for cinéSPEAK as they begin their 10th year with a new series, a new annual program, and a closing program for a major Indigenous arts and culture festival. The events will feature special guests and highlight essential topics in our community.
PHILADELPHIA - Kismet Bagels, which began as an idea during Covid-19 and became an online popup shop in 2020, opened its first brick & mortar location in Fishtown in April of this year. Now, husband-and-wife owners Jacob and Alexandra Cohen are expanding their footprint in Philadelphia. With their bialy stall already in the works at the Reading Terminal Market, eyeing a December opening, the entrepreneurs are also preparing to open their second brick & mortar – this one located at 1700 Sansom Street in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse neighborhood. The Cohens are eyeing an early December opening.
