PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia's favorite Memorial Day Weekend Tradition is returning! The Atlantic City Expressway will be a free toll on Friday. Chickies & Pete's will PAY ALL TOLLS FOR CARS TRAVELING EASTBOUND through the Egg Harbor Exit DURING RUSH HOUR.
Chickie's & Pete's is teaming up once again with South Jersey Transportation Authority and the Atlantic City Expressway. Chickie's & Pete's will pay the toll on FREE TOLL Friday, May 26th, between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
Chickie's & Pete's will celebrate the countdown at Farley Plaza from noon to 5:00 pm. They'll also give away their famous Crabfries for free. The State Police Dog Search and Rescue Team and a display by the Fire and Rescue Equipment of The Atlantic City International Airport will be free. Children can also meet ambassadors of The Funny Farm, a sanctuary for farm animals and zoo pets, as well as dozens and dozens of vendors, artists, and other surprises.
