LAS VAGAS - A New Year's Day explosion involving a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas has sent shockwaves through the city and raised concerns about a potential act of terrorism. The incident, which occurred on January 1, 2025, left one person dead and at least seven others injured.

Just before 9 AM, the Cybertruck, parked near the entrance of the Trump International Hotel, erupted in flames. Witnesses described hearing loud bangs and smoke and fire engulfing the vehicle.
