PHILADELPHIA - The City of Philadelphia hosts a beautiful Pop Up Garden at 1401 JFK Boulevard in the Plaza to recognize Overdose Awareness. Throughout September, there will be different daily activities geared towards overdose awareness in many different forms.
PHILADELPHIA - Tapster, a Chicago-based self-service bar concept, is moving to Philadelphia. The restaurant will open its Philadelphia outpost early next year in a 3,600-square-foot space at 110-16 South 16th Street. The new location is part of Tapster's planned national expansion. The company currently has locations in Chicago, Seattle, Cleveland, and Austin.
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Chef Christopher Kearse’s first ever installment of The French AF Series, titled La Fête du Foie, returns to Forsythia with a brand-new selection of five foie gras dishes incorporating hyper-local, seasonal ingredients on Wednesday, September 14. KING of PRUSSIA - The King of Prussia Tavern, formally known as the KOP Tavern, is opening on Tuesday, September 13th, with a new chef, a new menu, and a new game room under the direction of Executive Chef Daniel Waller. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, September 23rd at 11 a.m. to celebrate the launch of the revamped restaurant located at 128 Town Center Road in King of Prussia, PA (formerly Michael’s Delicatessen).
WILDWOOD, NJ – On Sunday, September 11th at 10:30 am, a solemn September 11, 2001 Remembrance Ceremony will take place at Byrne Plaza, 3400 Pacific Avenue in Downtown Wildwood. Organized by the Wildwood Business Improvement District for the past several years, the ceremony will honor and remember our fellow Americans who were killed on that tragic day and the first responders. They have died over the past 21 years due to 9/11-related illnesses.
PHILADELPHIA - In a recent announcement, Dave's Hot Chicken announced plans to expand into Philadelphia. This expansion will take the popular street food concept to Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. The expansion will include eight locations. Two franchises are expected to open in the next two years, while four more locations will follow through 2025.
