PHILADELPHIA - Juno by summer is one of Philadelphia's most Instagrammable and social media famous restaurants with towering life-size flowering murals, lush plants, a wooden patio, and bright colors. Now for the winter, Juno has been completely revamped and transformed with a giant rooftop greenhouse roof added for cold months, the addition of greenhouse dining rooms, and tons of festive holiday vibes all around! 


With the new enclosure, Juno will offer 120 seats, with an additional 18 in their greenhouses. Tables are available for 1 to 14 guests. Each greenhouse offers a private dining experience for up to 6 guests. There are no additional costs associated with booking a greenhouse, but given the limited quantity, reservations are strongly encouraged. Consider making your reservation early to take advantage of Juno’s 4 PM - 6 PM happy hour, featuring a delectable food menu, beer, wine, and cocktail selection for $5 each.

Juno’s new enclosure comes right in time for holiday party planning. Juno now offers private party options ranging from sit-down dining to casual happy hour-style experiences. Private events at Juno can range from 20 to 60 guests, with the ability to rent the complete venue.

In addition to enclosing the outside, the team at Juno has built a convenient walk-up taco window offering neighborhood locals and guests attending a show at Union Transfer a fast, fun, and delicious meal on the go. Currently, the full menu is available for purchase via the walk-up window. “Business in the area is growing with the return of Union Transfer and other music venues finally being able to safely reopen,” says Brandon Bunce. “We hope to remain the urban oasis people can turn to for pre-show food, late-night drinks, and everything in between.”

The culinary team at Juno, led by Chef Miguel Angel Hernandez Mota, has added several new items to the menu inspired by his Mexican roots. This season’s menu includes options such as Chile Rellenos and fajitas, while also adding in some more traditional Mexican dishes such as beef tongue tacos with salsa Morita and pozole Verde soup with hominy and braised pork. His innovative, yet the uncomplicated approach to the menus formation offers a little bit for all levels of flavor adventurers. An upgraded brunch menu is scheduled to be launched in early December.

Juno consistently offers some of the best margaritas in Philadelphia, with over 7 housemade, fresh flavorings. This season must try margarita is the hot honey. Indulge in upgraded winter classics like housemade Horchata made with Hornitos Reposado, Velvet Falernum, ancho chili, and a variety of warm spices. Ponche Navideno, the Mexican Christmas punch, gives a warm cocktail option for guests already in the holiday spirit. Guests who are not ready to trade in their sangria for winter drinks can sip on frozen apple cider sangria.
