PHILADELPHIA — The unofficial start of summer is here, and with it comes the quintessential season for iced coffee. But today, that daily caffeine fix carries a little more weight. Dunkin' has officially brought back its annual Iced Coffee Day for Wednesday, May 27, transforming a routine beverage run into a nationwide charitable effort.
For one day only, $1 from every iced coffee and cold brew sold at participating Dunkin' locations will be donated directly to the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation. The foundation's core mission is to bring joy and vital support to children battling hunger or illness in communities across the country.
Now entering its fifth year, the annual tradition has proven to be a massive success. In 2025 alone, Dunkin' Iced Coffee Day generated over $2 million. Those funds directly supported the foundation's Regional Grants and its Signature Programs, including Dogs for Joy, Dunkin' Prom, Dunkin' Connecting Joy, and Dunkin' Joyful Space.
Victor Carvalho, a Dunkin' Franchisee and Co-Chairman of the Joy in Childhood Foundation Board, emphasized the event's community impact. He noted that what starts as a simple part of a daily routine quickly becomes something meaningful on Iced Coffee Day, allowing guests to help turn everyday moments into joyful opportunities that uplift local children and families.
Whether you prefer a bold cold brew or a sweet sip topped with Cold Foam, every iced coffee order placed today delivers more than just refreshment. It offers a simple, powerful way for guests, franchisees, and neighborhoods to come together and make a tangible difference where it is needed most.
