PHILADELPHIA - Fond, the acclaimed contemporary French restaurant on East Passyunk Avenue, is saying farewell to 2020 in style with a seafood-focused takeaway feast, a bevy of wine and bubbly, and a street-side pop-up on New Year's Eve – Thursday, December 31.
Ring in the new year with an array of sommelier-selected wine and Champagne bottle options aimed to pair with the New Year's Eve takeaway dinner. The seafood dinner includes a variety of menu offerings, including:

Shrimp Cocktail: six u-10 shrimp with classic cocktail sauce $22

Crab cakes: two six-ounce cakes (to reheat at home) with saffron tartar sauce $24

Tuna Tartare: (two servings, mix-at-home) avocado, scallions, sesame, yuzu $26

Mussel Salad: (one pint) lemon, olive oil, red onion, smoked paprika $15

The deadline to order is Monday, December 28 for pick-up on Thursday, December 31.
In addition, Chef Lee Styer of Fond will grill street-side at 11th and Tasker on New Year's Eve from 3 - 7 pm with offerings such as Cheesesteaks, Sausage Sammies, Brie en Croûte, a Champagne cocktail, Bourbon Mulled Cider, and much more.
As for New Year's Day, Fond will be back at the street-side grill from 3 - 7 pm with items including -- but not limited to -- Pork and Sauerkraut, Sausage Sammies, Sweet Stuffed Flatbread, Pumpkin Cinnamon Buns, and a bevy of libations such as Bloody Marys, Mimosas, Mulled Cider, and craft beer.
