BETHLEHEM, PA - The Lehigh Valley is gearing up for one of its sweetest traditions as PEEPSFEST® returns to Bethlehem. The popular, family-focused New Year's celebration, presented by ArtsQuest and Just Born Quality Confections, invites kids of all ages to the ArtsQuest Campus at SteelStacks for a two-day event on December 30 and 31, 2025.
Running from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day, the festival offers a kid-friendly way to ring in the New Year well before midnight.
The main event of the festival is the iconic PEEPS® Chick Drop. Each evening at 5:35 p.m., a massive, 400-pound shining PEEPS® Chick will descend from above to count down the New Year. The drop is immediately followed by a spectacular fireworks display. This unique tradition has gained national recognition as one of the top New Year’s Eve "drops" in the country.
This year’s PEEPSFEST® will feature a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, including live music, games, and creative crafts. Highlights include:
-
Science and nature shows from the Da Vinci Science Center and the Wildlands Conservancy.
-
PEEPS® cooking recipes demonstrated in The Kitchen® with Chef Julie of Levy Restaurants.
-
Friendship bracelet making at the PBS3S9 Experience.
-
Character performances and meet-and-greets, including acts inspired by K-Pop Demon Hunters.
To ensure the event is comfortable for all, a Sensory-Friendly Space presented by Good Shepherd Rehabilitation will be available at PBS39.
Children aged 12 and under will receive a free PEEPS® tote bag to fill with goodies. Attendees can also purchase PEEPS® candy and bright PEEPSFEST® visors.
Tickets are $5 per person, with free admission for children ages one and under. Entry to the festival begins at 2:45 p.m. Families are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as the event sells out quickly.
