PHILADEPHIA, PA - The City of Philadelphia reported that 378 evacuees came through PHL this past August 29, 2021, via three aircraft. From August 28-29, 883 evacuees arrived through PHL, and several hundred more are anticipated to arrive during the week.
PHILADEPHIA - A 15-year old girl was shot twice in the head at The Jerome Brown Playground basketball court located on the 1900 block of West Ontario in Philadelphia sometime before 9 p.m. by a gunman who opened fire in the playground.
PHILADELPHIA – The City announced on Tuesday, July 20, that Martin Luther King (MLK) Drive will be opened to vehicular traffic beginning on Wednesday, August 4, at 5 p.m. However, due to repairs needed to MLK Bridge, the Drive will remain closed south of Sweetbriar Drive until rehab construction is completed.
