PHILADELPHIA, PA – Professional chef, James Beard nominated journalist, fiber artist, and owner and founder of revered restaurant-turned-sauce brand Poi Dog Kiki Aranita will wrap up her months-long series, dubbed the Huli Huli Summer Tour, with an exciting pop-up at Jet Wine Bar on Wednesday, September 20 from 5 – 9 pm.

The pop-up will feature a variety of seafood-centric dishes (Unagi-style Guava Katsu trout and salmon shoyu POKE), classics from the original Poi Dog menu, perfectly paired wine carefully selected by Jet Wine Bar's General Manager Emily Gordon and Aranita, as well as a specialty cocktail spiced up with Chili Peppah Water. All seafood served will reflect the ethos of the art project intended to highlight the effects of the industrial garment and fiber industries upon our oceans.

In addition to food and drinks, guests will also be able to interact with Aranita’s crocheted sculptural collection of beloved, nostalgic foods. Special guest Stephen Satterfield - social activist, acclaimed food journalist, host of Netflix’s docuseries High on the Hog, and sommelier - will also be in attendance.

This is an event you won't want to miss! To learn more about Kiki Aranita's Huli Huli Summer Tour or to make a reservation for the pop-up at Jet Wine Bar on Wednesday, September 20th, from 5 – 9 pm visit.
