WAYNE, PA After over a decade of lower golf scores in Bala Cynwyd, Club Champion is relocating its main Philadelphia-area store to Wayne, PA. This new studio is now open and accepting fittings in the Gateway Shopping Center at 179 E Swedesford Road, Suite 179, Wayne, PA. This is the company’s third location in the state of Pennsylvania.

“We’re excited to be set up in a new location near the great city of Philadelphia,” said Club Champion founder Nick Sherburne. “Philly’s been a home for us for over ten years, and we’re excited to continue our relationship with this new store in Wayne.”

While the Bala Cynwyd location, which opened in April of 2012, will remain open and operating for the near future, Club Champion’s base of operations in the Philadelphia area is headed over to Wayne.

The new club fitting studio features two indoor hitting bays with TrackMan launch monitors for analyzing performance, a SAM PuttLab system to find the perfect putter, and a build shop for repairing and assembling golf clubs by hand. The roughly 3,000 square foot space also includes a demo matrix to display the head and shaft options that make up their 50,000 hittable club combinations using brands like Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping, Titleist, Cobra, Fujikura, Golf Pride, and many more.

“Our goal at the new studio is the same as always — finding the best combination of components to help Philly golfers lower their scores and better enjoy the game,” said Sherburne. “This is a new beginning, and I’m excited to continue our journey in this market.”

For a limited time, the store in Wayne will celebrate its grand opening by offering 50% off fitting fees with an equipment purchase of $500 or more. Putter fittings are the only exception; they are 50% off with purchasing a new putter. The studio is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
