PHILADEPHIA -  Fried chicken joint Fuku – created by chef David Chang – is expanding in the Philadelphia market with delivery, following the launch of its new all-white meat Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich.

While Fuku has been available at local Philly concessions in Lincoln Financial Field for the past three years, this will be the first time customers can order on-demand delivery through a partnership with REEF, whose national network of Neighborhood Kitchens enables food entrepreneurs, local restaurants, and national restaurant brands to open and quickly expand their delivery businesses.

Fuku’s Neighborhood Kitchen is located in Northern Liberties and will be available for delivery across all major delivery platforms, including UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub, and Postmates. To celebrate the launch, Philly customers will receive free delivery via Uber Eats through the end of the year.

“For the past three years Fuku has been a part of the Philly community via concessions in Lincoln Financial Field, and we are thrilled to expand our footprint into the Philly market,” said Alex Munoz-Suarez, CEO of Fuku. “Through this delivery-only model, we’re able to bring Fuku to consumers in a safe and controlled way, allowing our loyal fans, and new fans, to enjoy Fuku all year long.”

This October, Fuku expanded its footprint to the Arlington / DC area in partnership with REEF tied to the release of Fuku’s new all-white meat Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich. Fuku’s Executive Chef Stephanie Abrams spent the past 12 months perfecting the new recipe, which is more than a shift from using chicken thighs to using chicken breast. It’s a bigger, crispier, spicier, and saucier sandwich for Fuku’s customers to fall in love with. The new Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich features 6 oz of chicken breast (non-GMO and antibiotic-free), brined in a fresh habanero puree for 24 hours, served with Fuku mayo, and pickles on Martin’s potato roll.

The new Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich and full Fuku menu will be available for delivery in the Philadelphia area, as well as in Miami, DC, and NYC where Fuku is headquartered.

“It’s incredibly exciting to make Fuku’s iconic fried chicken sandwiches readily available to Philly," said Carl Segal, REEF's Chief Operating Officer. "In a time where delivery and convenience is king, we’re honored to tap our Neighborhood Kitchens to help Fuku reach both new and existing local customers in Philadelphia.”
