Rollins Brings a New Flavor to Philly: Former Shortstop Set to Open Eleven Social

Rollins, a pivotal figure in the Phillies' 2008 World Series championship run, has teamed up with experienced restaurateur Matt DeLima to bring Eleven Social to life. The restaurant, a nod to Rollins' iconic jersey number, will offer a menu of modern American cuisine.

"I've always had a passion for great food and bringing people together," Rollins said. "Being back in Philadelphia, where my career took off, felt like the perfect place to open Eleven Social."

Eleven Social will offer a vibrant atmosphere across two floors, located at 117 Chestnut St. in the historic Old City neighborhood. While details about the menu are still under wraps, DeLima promises "a good place for a social gathering with good food."

"Jimmy and I envision a place where you can come for a delicious meal, watch a game, or celebrate with friends," explains DeLima. "It will be a great addition to Philadelphia's dining scene."

Eleven Social is slated to open in the summer of 2024, giving Phillies fans and Philadelphia foodies another reason to cheer for the beloved baseball legend.
