PHILADELPHIA - The next Eagles vs. Lions game will be interesting. This matchup is going to feature a quarterback that has the potential to be great and a defense that's hungry for respect. In addition, both teams will be testing their new receivers, as Jalen Hurts is expected to be a big part of the game. This game could begin a very interesting 2022-23 for both teams.

The Eagles are coming off a 9-8 record in 2021-22. But, they are loaded with new talent, including the addition of AJ Brown. The run game should be good, as Miles Sanders has shown promise as a lead back. The Eagles also have a good receiving corps, with DeVonta Smith, A.J. Brown, and Dallas Goedert, all key contributors to the offense.

While the Philadelphia Eagles are less likely to be as dominant as last season, their secondary is still very good. The Eagles' newcomers in Haason Reddick and Jordan Davis should add depth to the secondary. In addition, they have a pair of playmaking receivers in James Bradberry and Darius Slay.
