The Bourse Food Hall

The Bourse Food Hall, Old City's modern artisanal food hall, is hosting a Mother's Day Market on Saturday, May 7, and Sunday, May 8, from 11 am – 5 pm, presented by Art Star. The Mother's Day Market boasts 30 curated craft vendors posted on the first floor of the massive food hall as well as al fresco on the 5th St. patio overlooking Independence Mall, with various locally-made, hand-crafted wares, and goods including pottery, jewelry, clothing, art prints, baby/kid toys and clothing, candles, soaps, bags, and more.

Additionally, Attico Rooftop will host a pop-up craft cocktail bar at The Bourse Food Hall for one-weekend-only, plus fare and libations will be available from a variety of restaurants, including Menagerie Coffee, Grubhouse Philly, Marino Brother's Cheesesteaks, Freebyrd Chicken, Abunai Poke, Rebel Taco, and so on. 111 S Independence Mall E.

Forsythia, Old City's

Forsythia, Old City's contemporary French bar and restaurant, has an elevated, artfully-prepared brunch in-store for Moms and their loved ones featuring a multi-course menu curated by Owner/Chef Christopher Kearse. For $80/person, the deluxe prix fixe includes Roasted Garden Carrots & Snow Peas, Black Truffle Crêpe with sheep's milk ricotta and caramelized onions, Tuna Niçoise with saffron potato, bagna càuda, and a six-minute egg, and Rohan Duck Confit with green market cassolette, fig jus, and green garlic. For dessert, diners can choose between Yuzu Curd Tart with blueberry, poppy seed crémeux, and lavender and Chocolate Olive Oil Gâteau with sour cherry, rhubarb, and pistachio.

Patchwork

Patchwork, a lively restaurant, and bar focused on New American cuisine located on the second floor of the Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia, is hosting Afternoon Tea on the freshly minted outdoor patio adjacent to Patchwork's indoor dining space and bar. Moms and their loved ones can enjoy an assortment of tea sandwiches and chai lattes from 3 – 5 pm. Additionally, from 8 am - 2 pm, guests can enjoy a bountiful multi-course brunch service priced at $32/person featuring seasonal, delectable fare courtesy of Executive Chef Jonathan Dearden. Red Owl Tavern

The modern American tavern on Independence Mall, Red Owl Tavern, serves up various artfully plated, decadent add-ons tailored for Mother's Day. Brunch-goers can treat Mom to a bountiful brunch service featuring Whipped Ricotta Toast served with freshly-baked sourdough and rhubarb, Asparagus & Arugula Salad with grilled and raw asparagus, Parmesan, and truffle vinaigrette, Spring Harvest Quiche composed of asparagus, pancetta, spring onions, charred ramp aioli, and petite salad, and Heirloom Tomato Benedict with slow-roasted tomatoes, speck, spinach, and hollandaise.

Imbibers can partake in the festivities by sipping on one carefully curated craft cocktail courtesy of Lead Bartender Christopher Devern dubbed Mother Spring ($15), a floral and fruity spring-inspired riff on the cosmopolitan. The Twisted Tail,  the popular Southern-inspired restaurant and bar on Headhouse Square, celebrates Mother's Day with an over-the-top brunch spread, a pastry basket brimming with baked goods and accouterments. On Sunday, May 8, from 10 am - 4 pm, guests can partake in a three-course, prix fixe experience for $42/person with offerings spanning Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Chicken and Waffle with apple butter and spiced maple syrup, and a seasonal Roasted Mushroom Salad crafted with Lola Rosa, pickled grapes, and a truffle vinaigrette. 509 S. 2nd Street

Urban Farmer

Urban Farmer, Logan Square's modern American steakhouse, has a plethora of spirited fare in-store for brunch and dinner service on Mother's Day.
