PHILADEPHIA, PA - If you're looking for a unique and delicious treat, you will soon be able to visit Milk Jawn on East Passyunk. This Philadelphia ice cream shop features a wide variety of flavors from classics to seasonal favorites. The company's founders, Amy Wilson and Ryan Miller started out as a hobby a few years back and have expanded it to a full-fledged business with the help of their families. The current shop is based out of MaKen Studios North in Kensington, and they are also available for delivery.


The new location will feature two separate production facilities and a 500-square-foot retail space. The team is currently working out of MaKen Studios North in Kensington but plans to open its brick-and-mortar location in East Passyunk next spring. In addition to ice cream, the shop will also feature ice cream cakes and other specialty desserts. The upcoming opening of the shop is sure to be exciting for fans of ice cream in the city.

The storefront will offer an expanded selection of flavors. Besides the ever-popular double-fold vanilla and pistachio flavors, Milk Jawn will also offer a number of vegan options. Additionally, the brand offers seasonal ice creams and ice cream cakes. The company's honeycomb Earl Gray flavor recently won the title of "Best New Flavor" in the Northeast region, and placed second in the nation. The new shop is expected to open in the Spring of 2022.

The new location will also feature a retail space and manufacturing facility for the company. And, will also have a window for their ice cream bar and will serve a full line of frozen treats. As part of the expansion, the company also plans to start offering ice cream cakes.
