PHILADELPHIA, PA - Police in Philadelphia is questioning two men in connection with the ambush killing of a 14-year-old boy. The suspects fired two guns and pounced on the teenager as he was waiting for a bus in a North Philadelphia neighborhood. Detectives are now investigating what caused the incident. as the motive of the ambush still remains unclear.

Samir Jefferson, a 14-year-old was shot 18 times as he waited for a bus in Philadelphia on Monday afternoon.

The shooters had chased the teen and shot him several times, according to Action News. Authorities say the two suspects sprayed rounds into Jefferson's body.

During the shooting, two suspects fled in the vehicle. The victim was declared dead at Temple University Hospital.
