PHILADELPHIA - Three men have been hospitalized following an early morning triple shooting in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood on Thursday. The violent incident unfolded just after 2:00 a.m. along the 600 block of East Wishart Street, near the intersection with F Street.
Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small stated that officers were patrolling just a block away when they heard the gunfire. They arrived on the scene within seconds to find a man, believed to be in his 30s or 40s, suffering from a gunshot wound. First responders quickly transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
As the investigation continued at the scene, authorities learned that two additional victims connected to the same shooting had arrived at a nearby hospital. The two men, aged 19 and 26, sustained gunshot wounds to their arms and are also recovering in stable condition. According to police, the younger victims were dropped off by a private vehicle that immediately fled the medical facility, leaving investigators to search for the driver and any remaining suspects.
