PHILADELPHIA — The holiday season is officially arriving at the Comcast Center Campus, bringing with it a full calendar of festive activations, extended hours, and family-friendly events starting later this month.
The Concourse at Comcast Center will serve as a central hub for holiday cheer, headlined by several visits from Santa Claus. The festivities kick off with a major event on Saturday, December 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Families can enjoy photos with Santa, free holiday crafts, and music from DJ Hollywood. As a sweet bonus, Termini Brothers Bakery will be handing out $2 chocolate chip cookies to participants.
For those who miss the main event, Santa will return for free photo opportunities on December 12, 19, and 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Shoppers looking for local gifts can browse a special Holiday Fair at The Concourse at the Comcast Technology Center. Running from December 16 through December 18 (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.), the fair will feature goods from local makers and artisans.
To keep visitors warm while they enjoy the campus attractions—including The Comcast Holiday Spectacular and DreamWorks Shrek’s Festive Flight—a pop-up hot cocoa and coffee cart will be stationed on-site. The cart will offer seasonal treats and drinks Fridays through Sundays from November 27 through January 1.
To accommodate the holiday crowds, The Concourse at Comcast Center will operate with extended hours for the season, open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
