LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A stretch of a Lancaster County roadway was shut down in both directions early Thursday morning after a crash submerged multiple vehicles, underscoring the incident's severity.
Emergency crews, including Blue Rock Fire Rescue and the Manor Township Police Department, responded promptly to the crash along the 1900 block of Water Street—near PA 441/Conestoga Street—showing the community's quick response to emergencies.
The Lancaster County Coroner's Office was also called to the active scene.
All lanes of Water Street were closed between Conestoga Street and Penn Street as first responders and recovery crews worked at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the total number of occupants involved and the full extent of injuries.
The crash remains under investigation, and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes, ensuring the public feels informed about safety measures.
