PHILADELPHIA - 2020 has been a difficult year for many, but few have been hit as hard as our beloved restaurant and hospitality industry workers. Sadly, with many restaurants temporarily or permanently closed, industry workers and their families are feeling the pinch this holiday season.

As a result, The Twisted Tail has partnered with Wild Turkey for Hope for Hospitality Clothing and Toy Drive, a holiday charity drive directly supporting the children of the hospitality industry. From now through Sunday, December 13th, those who are willing and able are encouraged to drop off unwrapped clothing items and toys suited for children ages 0-10 at various donation sites across Philadelphia, including:

The Twisted Tail at 2nd and Lombard Street
New Wave Café at 3rd and Catharine Street
a.kitchen at 18th and Walnut Street

Donations will be accepted between 3 and 8 pm daily. Donators who drop off items at The Twisted Tail today through Sunday, December 6th will receive a free drink.

Families in need can pick up their share of donations on December 19th from 12-4 pm at The Twisted Tail. All questions can be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

As an alternative to physical donations, those looking to help out are also welcomed to donate virtually via Venmo by sending funds to @HolidayHope.
