PHILADELPHIA, PA — The holidays are for giving back, and this year, Philadelphians can make a difference for homeless pets while snapping a memorable photo. Selfies for a Cause with Santa and the Grinch is returning to The Shops at Liberty Place, with all proceeds dedicated to the local organization, Morris Animal Refuge.
The popular event takes place on Saturdays, December 6 and 13, 2025, from Noon to 5:00 PM, inside the festive Rotunda (1625 Chestnut Street).
Supporting Philadelphia's Oldest Shelter
The Morris Animal Refuge has been a cornerstone of the Philadelphia area since 1874, offering high-quality care, preventative services, and forever homes to cats, dogs, and small animals in need.
Entry requires just a $10 donation, and every dollar counts. The Shops at Liberty Place has pledged to generously match up to $1,500 per day, doubling the impact of community generosity for the Refuge’s critical work.
Pups Welcome on the Nice List
The event is famously dog-friendly, so families are encouraged to bring their canine companions to pose alongside the dynamic holiday duo. The event is first come, first served, so arrive early (the line-up is expected to close around 4:00 PM) to ensure your dog—and the rest of your squad—gets a festive picture!
