PHILADELPHIA - Chef Yun Fuentes, Culinary Director of MilkBoy, the iconic Philadelphia-born brand known for booze, bites, and music, has officially launched an assortment of classic and distinctively unique takes on the Philly cheesesteak, including The Red October Cheesesteak in celebration of the Philadelphia Phillies clinching a spot in the 2022 World Series Championship.

Philadelphians can cheer on the Fightin’ Phils while indulging in this limited-edition cheesesteak starting on Friday, October 28, available at MilkBoy Philly (11th and Chestnut Street) MilkBoy South Street (4th and South Street), featured solely during each championship game. 
 
Fuentes’ massive and scrumptious The Red October Cheesesteak ($25) spans an impressive 24 inches and is topped with long hot aioli, provolone, and pickled jalapeños, served in eight pieces to facilitate sharing. While this particular dish is exclusively served during each World Series game, MilkBoy offers a delectable newly-minted Signature Philly Cheesesteak prepared with ribeye beef, sharp American cheese, fried onions, and “Tommy sauce,” served on LISCIO’s Bakery seeded roll. This handheld sandwich is available in “Junior” size (12 inches) for $15.95 at MilkBoy Philly on the 11th and Chestnut and “MilkBoy” size (24 inches) for $29.95 at both restaurants. 
 
Additionally, MilkBoy South Street boasts one Chicken Cheesesteak ($13.95) served on LISCIO’s Bakery signature hoagie roll with long hot aioli, caramelized onions, and sharp provolone, and a veg-friendly alternative, the Cauliflower Cheesesteak ($12.95) fashioned with garlic aioli, grilled wild mushrooms, fried onions, and Yard’s BeerWhiz, served on LISCIO’s Bakery signature hoagie roll. 
 
Hours of operation at MilkBoy Philly are Monday through Friday from 7 am - 2 am, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am - 2 am, and MilkBoy South Street on Sunday through Tuesday from 11 am - 12 am and Wednesday through Saturday from 11 am - 1 am.
