PHILADELPHIA - In a recent announcement, Dave's Hot Chicken announced plans to expand into Philadelphia. This expansion will take the popular street food concept to Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. The expansion will include eight locations. Two franchises are expected to open in the next two years, while four more locations will follow through 2025.

The Los Angeles-based company has plans to expand into Philadelphia. The restaurant offers a varied menu of hot chicken sliders and tenders in spice levels ranging from No Spice to Reaper. Additionally, the company offers sides such as creamy mac and cheese and kale slaw.

Drake is a big fan of Dave's Chicken. The singer and actor recently became an investor in the company. The brand's founders have been working to attract celebrity investors to expand their brand, and they're hoping to open 700 locations nationwide. In addition to Drake, the restaurant has received recognition from other celebrities. Among the investors are Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Strahan, Drake, and Tom Werner, the owner of the Boston Red Socks.

The restaurant was originally a pop-up in East Hollywood, California, but since then, it has become a wildly popular franchise. The food is so good that people are lining up to try it. One New York location already has a 30-minute wait.
