PHILADELPHIA - Insomnia Cookies has announced plans to open a new headquarters in Center City, Philadelphia. The company is taking over a three-story building, previously a Walgreens superstore. The new facility will be called the "Imagine What's Possible Center." It will employ up to 200 people and house the brand's corporate headquarters. The company currently operates 220 locations in the U.S.

The new location will feature a kitchen designed to replicate the brand's research lab. Visitors can also use the cookie lab to create their own desserts. Insomnia Cookies offers nationwide shipping and customizable gift packs. The company was founded in a dorm room at the University of Pennsylvania in 2003 by Seth Berkowitz.

The company's new HQ will include its offices and test kitchen. It will also have a storefront where the cookies can be purchased and shipped.
