PHILADELPHIA - The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society planted 110,000 bulbs along Philadelphia's Ben Franklin Parkway. Thirty thousand vibrant seasonal bulbs are now in full bloom at Logan Square. Whether you are a Philadelphian or a visitor from another city, everyone is welcome to enjoy these beautiful spring blooms. Follow the bulb trail from LOVE Park to Logan Square, the Rodin Museum, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Sculpture Garden.


This bulb trail features a variety of bulbs, including Alliums (also known as Alliums), Crocus (also known as Crocus), Muscari (also called Muscari), Daffodil,s and Tulips. This year, Logan Square will also feature new signage that details the plant materials, layout, and designer's inspiration.

PHS Public Gardens and Landscapes is integral to the PHS mission, which promotes health and wellbeing through horticulture. These spaces create greenspace in the Philadelphia area, attract pollinators and contribute to a much-needed tree canopy. They also benefit both physical and psychological health. These spaces are open to all and free to use. They offer the chance to reconnect with nature, to be inspired by gardening and plants, and to foster social connections.

This Center City bulb trail and over 15 other stunning PHS Public Gardens and Landscapes will offer visitors a colorful and exciting respite from the winter months with innovative and multi-colored plantings.

Visit the Delaware River Waterfront or Philadelphia Navy Yard in spring to enjoy stunning waterfront views and new plantings by PHS. You can also visit the Eastern State Penitentiary to glimpse Philadelphia's history and see beautiful spring bulb displays. PHS will bring South Philadelphia's Geary Park to life through new plantings, a park renovation, and PHS.

Both the PHS Pop Up Gardens in Manayunk and South Street will also be officially open this season. They will have a new spring palette. Watch for the new signage detailing what's in bloom at both locations. The stunning gardens are an urban oasis with delicious food, beverages, and various exciting events, programs, and activities. Visit the Manayunk Pop-Up Garden on Sundays for yoga, or improve your gardening skills with regular horticultural programs at both sites. These include plant swap events and horticultural classes such as teacup gardening, microgreen gardening, and free bulb giveaways.

Gateway Garden at Drexel returns for its third season! The vibrant garden is filled with blooming bulbs and features weekly programming, such as "Meet the Brewers," pop-up events on Wednesdays, and Thursday farm markets. Visit this beautiful garden with friends and family this spring to enjoy engaging programming and events. Also, take in the vibrant plants.
