PHILADELPHIA - Evolv Technology announced today a partnership with the New Wells Fargo Center to improve the security screening process for arena fans, it's the same system used at Citizens Bank Park. Evolv's Evolv Express(r), a state-of-the-art screening solution, is now available at New Wells Fargo Center. This allows fans to go through security faster than ever. Evolv provides fan screening for dozens of sports teams nationwide, including the Philadelphia Eagles, NHL, MLB, and MLS.
Evolv Express combines powerful sensor technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver safer, more precise threat detection at an unprecedented volume. It quickly distinguishes between everyday items and threats, so people don't have to empty their pockets or bags. Most fans can walk straight into the arena without stopping at security. Evolv was first used at Flyers hockey games by Wells Fargo Center in February. Wells Fargo Center allowed bags to be carried during Flyers and Sixers games. Bags larger than 4.5"x6.5" were permitted, but not smaller than 14'x14'x6." This was subject to x-ray screening. Evolv technology will allow large bags to be screened automatically, according to the arena.
