PHILADELPHIA -On Wednesday, March 1st from 5:30-8PM at Stratus Rooftop Lounge of Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia, PA (Women's History Month), Sisterly Love Collective and Stratus Rooftop Lounge have come together to host Women's Way Wednesdays: an interactive pop-up celebration of women-owned culinary and beverage businesses around Philadelphia region and beyond. Highlights will include complimentary hors d'oeuvres, wine/beer tastings, Champagne/oysters, cocktails with live music performances plus silent auction items!
Women's Way Wednesdays brings together Philadelphia's finest culinary and beverage talent to not only celebrate their talent and achievements, but also to benefit Women's Way - Philadelphia's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to gender and racial equity. 100% of proceeds from ticket sales as well as a portion of purchased featured cocktails, beers and wines will benefit this important organization.
On Wednesday, March 1, Sisterly Love Collective is hosting a cocktail soiree to kick off Women's Way Wednesday. Enjoy small bites from an impressive list of culinary stars including Ange Branca, Monica Glass, Sofia Deleon, Melissa McGrath, Melissa Pellegrino and Cristina Martinez. Furthermore, Mist and Vapor pavilions at Stratus Rooftop Lounge will each offer elevated pairings and tastings such as beer tastings from women-owned breweries Attic Brewing Company and Love City Brewing; wine tastings from JLOHR Vineyards Famille Perrin Marques de Caceres; oysters with Champagne duos from Sweet Amalia Market and Chandon.
"March is an ideal month for Sisterly Love Collective to continue doing what they do best: showcasing professional women in food and beverage while aiding those in need," said Jill Weber, Co-Chair of Sisterly Love Collective. "This is such a wonderful chance to come together, enjoy delicious food, drink responsibly, and do good for others."
Every Wednesday from 5:30-8PM, Stratus Rooftop Lounge will feature a different chef. Enjoy their thoughtfully curated menu of delectable small bites alongside cocktails, beers, global wines and pastries; plus live entertainment and an interactive meet & greet with featured chefs.
Women's Way Wednesday events offer a wide selection of craft cocktails made by women-owned distilleries, wines by the glass from women winemakers such as Anna Clifford and Kristin Barnhisel, local beers from Love City Brewing, Triple Bottom Brewing, and Attic Brewing Company, plus food trucks from Love City Brewing, Triple Bottom Brewing, and Attic Brewing Company. Additionally during each weekly pop-up chef will provide an inspiring talk on their background story, accomplishments in business, plus time for Q&A with attendees.
