PHILADELPHIA - Basketball Hall of Fame Star Shaquille O'Neal Is Set to Open a Chicken Restaurant in Philadelphia in April at the Comcast Center's concourse.
Philadelphia is getting a brand-new fried chicken restaurant. Established in 2018 and supported by JRS Hospitality and Authentic Brands Group, Big Chicken brings O?Neal's classic childhood recipes with today's most sought-after flavors.
Big Chicken offers a tempting menu of sandwiches and tenders, including the Uncle Jerome with Nashville hot chicken or Big & Sloppy with mac and cheese and dirty fries. All are topped off with crispy fried onions for extra flavor.
Other menu items include handcrafted ice cream shakes and Lucille's Cheez-It-crusted mac and cheese. In addition, a fried chicken basket with your choice of sides will also be available.
In addition to traditional locations, Big Chicken has a franchise program that includes two Carnival cruise ships (Mardi Gras and Radiance), Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, UBS Arena in New York and more. Furthermore, the company is in the process of expanding its franchise network into Texas as well.
