PHILADELPHIA - Forîn is a cafe, restaurant, and lifestyle hub in East Kensington, featuring a modern bi-color design. Sister concept to Forîn Cafe (2041 Coral St.), Forîn marks an expanded vision for partners Kyle Horne, Seth Kligerman, and Will Landicho in an inventive European-inspired cafe experience offering a robust craft cocktail program, house-made wine, and an evening culinary program, alongside daytime bites and coffee. A brand anchored by an ethos of collaboration and connection, Forîn hosts culinary pop-ups, features limited-release beverage partnerships and serves as a retailer for international lifestyle and apparel brands.

Musing European cafe-style experiences inspired by the team’s international travels, Forîn’s simple menu emphasizes high-quality sourcing. Daytime bites served 8 AM to 3 PM, include a signature Breakfast Sandwich served on a house-made biscuit with egg, sharp cheddar, and espresso-bacon jam, plus a Parfait and Tartine served on sourdough with vegan goat cheese and orange-fig jam. Forîn transitions to an evening menu at 4 PM designed to offer a convivial and shareable experience across small plates like Lamb Meatballs with whipped feta, mint, housemade pickled veggies, sumac, Charcuterie, and a Baguette with soppressata piccante, mozzarella, arugula, and honey vinaigrette, which pair perfectly with house wine and cocktail offerings. A slate of delicious and visually striking desserts round out the menu, from the Galette with citrus and caramelized fennel to the Affogato with eggnog ice cream and house espresso and, lastly, the Gelato “Negroni” with lemon gelato, vermouth, bitters, and orange. Extended evening and brunch menus to come.

Come spring, Forîn will be hosting several culinary pop-ups in-house. Partners include Atlantic City’s iconic Tony’s Baltimore Grill, Forsythia, Maketto from Washington DC, and Colbo out of NYC. Dates and menu specifics are to be announced.

High-quality coffee drinks, from drip to espresso and lattes, will be available all day, including a signature collaborative “Forîn Blend” created in partnership with Black & White Roasters from North Carolina — Forîn is the only outpost in Philadelphia to carry their products.

New for Forîn is the expansion into the alcoholic beverage realm. A craft cocktail program helmed by Partner Seth Kligerman, whose background spans 10+ food and beverage program development for brands like Kimpton Hotels, taps flavor profiles from the morning menu — think ube, pandan, Thai tea, and chaga — in eight unique signature cocktails. Standouts include Memory Palace (chaga-infused gin, vanilla, tonic), On The Avenue (vodka, ube, matcha, bubbles), and a Forîn Citywide (Kenwood Lager + 3 oz pour of house honey wine).

Forîn will also serve small-batch honey and fruit wine, produced at an offsite Forîn winery in Olde Kensington which will be available in-house by the glass and bottle, along with house red and white table wines. Limited-release beverage collaborations will be ongoing. Forîn’s opening will showcase an Ube Cider created with Hale & True Cider Co. and a Red Blend wine in partnership with WAYVINE, with art from local artist Kees Holterman. Future collaborations in the beverage space will include Casa Carmen and Mural City Cellars.
