PHILADELPHIA - International Burger Day is quickly approaching. To celebrate, we've rounded up a plethora of mouthwatering, must-try burgers and one-day-only offerings from locales including Devil's Den, MilkBoy South Street, Royal Boucherie, Forsythia, and more.


Devil's Den

Devil's Den, Philadelphia's leading craft beer bar, will be celebrating International Burger Day with beer-tasting specials for guests on Saturday, May 28, with a Burger and a Beer, consisting of a house burger made with an 8 oz patty, American cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion on a brioche bun, paired with a pint or can of Sweetwater Hazy IPA, available for dine-in only.

Patchwork

Patchwork, a lively restaurant, and bar focused on New American cuisine, located on the second floor of Hyatt Centric Center City, celebrates International Burger Day with a Beer + Burger + Shot, available Friday, May 27 through Sunday, May 29. Folks can enjoy the signature Patchwork Burger, served on a brioche bun with cambozola, onion marmalade, and a lemon garlic mayo while sipping on a local brew from Love City Brewing, accompanied by a bartender's choice shot of whiskey.

MilkBoy South Street

MilkBoy South Street, part of the iconic Philadelphia-born brand known for booze, bites, and music, recently launched a takeaway-only module created by Culinary Director Yun Fuentes. Guests can personalize their burgers with MilkBoy's signature sandwich dubbed the Hit Single.

Forsythia Old City

Forsythia, Old City's contemporary French bar and restaurant helmed by Chef Christopher Kearse, boasts an ever-evolving menu of French-forward dishes, with one constant — the Burger Royale, which consists of two smashed patties oozing in raclette, their top-secret 'comeback sauce,' and bibb lettuce.

Red Owl Tavern

Red Owl Tavern, the contemporary kitchen, and bar located across from Independence Hall in Old City offers burger-lovers their riff on the classic burger, dubbed the Tavern Burger, served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheddar cheese, pickles, and lemon aioli. Royal Boucherie, Old City's atmospheric and lively neighborhood restaurant and bar, boasts an elevated take on the classic burger with the Grass-Fed Boucherie Burger, a popular favorite amongst local foodies, which consists of bone marrow, watercress, and gruyere cheese, with the option of topping with bacon for an additional cost.
